Camp Canaan is located on a unique 100-acre island in the Catawba River in Rock Hill, South Carolina.

Directions:
Take your best route to I- 77.  Once you are in South Carolina, take Exit 82C toward York.  Turn right at the end of the exit onto Celanese Road.  Follow Celanese about 5 miles to India Hook Road (at Harris Teeter and Hickory Tavern).  Turn right.  India Hook Road will dead end at Sand Island Road.  Turn right on Sand Island Road and follow road across the bridge to Camp Canaan.

Multiple Buildings and Lodging Available

The camp has over 130 beds in the cabins, an additional area for tent camping, 24 flushies, 20 showers, a fully stock Lake Canaan on the Island that you can fish (catch and release only) and multiple walking trails.

Bathroom and Shower Facilities

Bathroom and shower facilities are located in all the lodges. Another facility is located at the tent camping area. There will also be 2 porta potties located on the field for those in armor or those who are unable to hike the short distance to the nearest facility.

Camp Style Beds

The camp long camp beds to fit both children and adults. There are only 130 beds available, so make those reservations early. If staying in a cabin, remember to bring your pillow, bedding or a sleeping bag.

Meeting Areas

Some of the lodges have meeting areas for Royals, Staff and other scheduled activities. A sign will be posted at these areas detailing when the areas are scheduled to be in use.

Site Restrictions

Service dogs only are allowed outside.  No pets.  No animals (even Service dogs) are allowed inside any buildings.  No RVs.  No smoking within 50 feet of group activities or entrances to buildings.  No illegal substances. No swimming in the lake, river or pool.  This is a dry site.  

All buildings are ADA compliant.  The site is rocky with dirt roads and some long grass.  This is a 100-acre island with sandy walking trails.  Some of the trails could be a little steep and not easily accessible to those in wheelchairs.  However, the majority of the activities for this event do not require any walking trail access.
