Spring Crown Tournament

An SCA Crown Tournament is a major armored combat event where fighters complete typically in a double-elimination tournament to become the Kingdom’s next Heirs (Prince/ Princess). Held twice a year, it’s a significant event showcasing chivalric combat, often featuring intense, closely watched finals with specific weapon forms, all under strict rules for fair play.

After the Tournament

Stick around after the main tournament has ended for a day of adventure. Helga Ball, Thrown Weapons, Atylatyl, Arts and Science Classes, Night Golfing, Bardic, Stories around the firepit and so much more will be offered. Keep checking this website to learn all about the other activities as the planning continues.

Explore the Beautiful Scenery

This event will be held at Camp Canaan in Rock Hill. This camp is located on a 100-acre island surround by the Catawba River. The camp has over 130 beds in the cabins, an additional area for tent camping, 24 flushies, 20 showers, a fully stocked Lake Canaan on the Island that you can fish (catch and release only) and multiple walking trails. While at the event, make sure to take in the beautiful scenery this incredible site offers. You may even catch a few turtle sunbathing on a rock in the river.
